Italian Yacht Masters explored whether a major hybrid retrofit like the one completed on a Venetian vaporetto could be applied to the world of superyachts. The answer? A strong yes. The challenge was very hard: retrofit a passenger vessel built over 40 years ago and implement a cutting-edge hybrid propulsion system.

The vaporetto now runs more efficiently, emits 28% fewer pollutants, offers greater onboard comfort, and provides increased operational flexibility.
