IYM Capt. Amadori new Embarkation

IYM is thrilled to share with its community the launch of M/Y Almax, the new 50-meter Steel Hybrid superyacht by Sanlorenzo shipyard, where Jacopo Amadori is embarked as First Officer. The launch took place on May 18th during the Élite Days 2024. This cutting-edge superyacht features a pioneering Reformer Fuel Cell system powered by green methanol, capable of supplying the onboard hotel system with zero emissions. Despite his young age, at just 31, IYM Captain Amadori's career is rapidly advancing. Having completed an Atlantic Ocean crossing, he served as Chief Officer from 2020 to 2023 on M/Y A2, a 40-meter vessel by Eurocraft Cantieri Navali SRL, and M/Y Deep Blue, a 55-meter vessel by Amels, working under Captain Battaglia. Moreover, in 2024, he will further advance his career by obtaining the Master 3000 GT MCA certification. IYM believes that this new engagement aboard the 50 Steel superyacht will provide Captain Amadori with a valuable opportunity to experience the innovative solutions implemented on this vessel.
