As a club of excellence, Italian Yacht Masters has set itself apart through its maritime leadership and charitable activities.

Charitable Activities

Since 2018, the association has made meaningful donations, including maneuvering simulators for the Nautical Institute of Porto Santo Stefano , books and medical equipment for pediatric hospitals, and support for medical interventions and emergency relief efforts. These actions highlight the association’s commitment to using its resources for the greater good.

In 2024, IYM donated two Azipods to the Nautical Institute Giovanni da Verrazzano for its 60th anniversary, enhancing maritime training. In 2023, IYM supported the Gaslini Hospital in Genova , donating books and games for young patients, and contributed to the Emilia Romagna flood relief, as well as donating to AIPD Versilia to assist individuals with Down syndrome .

In 2022, IYM provided essential medicines to Ukraine and supported Lega del Filo d'Oro to aid those with sensory disabilities.

In 2021, IYM funded a medical procedure in Germany for Mrs. Gledis.

In 2020, they donated an ultrasound machine to San Paolo Hospital in Savona and joined Lega del Filo d’Oro.

In 2019, IYM supported marine conservation by donating a Sea Bin to Marina di Portofino and contributed to the Blue Marine Foundation.

In 2018, they helped the orphans of the Ponte Morandi tragedy and supported Argentario Senza Ostacoli and YachtAid Global for Hurricane Irma relief.
