“Super Yacht: il meglio del Made in Italy a confronto” (Super yacht: the excellence of Made in Italy in the spotlight”) was the title of the fourth edition of the Super Yacht 24 Forum. Held at Palazzo San Giorgio in Genoa, the event saw a dynamic exchange among captains, shipyards, and suppliers, including IYM President Captain Gino Battaglia and Captain Rosario Fortuna as panelists. The inaugural topic of the forum, "Super Yachts, Marinas, and Services," was led by IYM President Gino Battaglia who emphasized the significant advancements in both the preparation and market perception of captains, calling upon shipyards, as industry leaders, to increase the engagement of Italian captains.

He stressed the necessity of Italian shipyards, to consistently enlarge space for Italian captains. On the other hand, captains should always try to bring or maintain vessels in Italian marinas and shipyards as much as possible, even for refit or periodic maintenance works, whereas in the past, such activities often occurred abroad. During the second discussion session, IYM Captain Rosario Fortuna addressed the shortage of professionals in the industry. He underscored the need to train future crews and involve young people in yachting, noting that almost all of them are choosing to work aboard ships. Captain Fortuna also commented on the gap between those involved in yacht design, production, and sailing, stating that these three players need to coordinate with each other before the final delivery.
