Yachtie Career Day

After the success of the first edition in 2023, the Genova Blue District hosted the Career Day by Genova for Yachting on May 29th and 30th. During these two days, IYM, represented by Captain Rosario Fortuna, and organizations associated with Genova for Yachting—including shipyards, marinas, specialized companies, service providers, and professionals—engaged with young workers and students. 

The event was dedicated to guiding and recruiting individuals interested in careers in the superyacht industry, showcasing training opportunities and tangible job prospects. Captain Fortuna shared his extensive experience, not only from onboard roles, but also in education and professional development. He has conducted courses on communication, human resources, image management, and more and young attendees had the opportunity to have direct interviews with him at the IYM stand. Additionally, IYM sponsors Femo Bunker and Cambiaso Risso Group were at the stands during the individual interview sessions, offering substantial growth opportunities within the nautical sector.

IYM extends its gratitude to Genova for Yachting for organizing the Career Day, a crucial two-day event that facilitated interactions among various nautical entities and brought young people closer to the industry.
