My whole life has been spent on and around water and boats. I’m a Master up to 500 GT and Chief Mate up to 3000 GT and a professional seaman for 10 years, with a great level of spoken english language. I have a lot of experience in navigation, particularly in Mediterranean Sea but also in the North Sea and the Caribbean, with 2 ocean crossings. I have experience on both private and charter yachts, especially in charter having done 4 seasons on commercial yachts. I have a broad understanding of current regulations, including, but not limited to SOLAS, MLC, ILO, STCW-10, ISPS, ISM, MARPOL, Paris MoU and Class Societies.
Being a team player, social person and enjoying working with people I think I would be an ideal candidate for a full time job as Captain or Chief Mate. In my past i have had great feedbacks from owners, charterers and also crew members. With my experience working for owners and charterers of different nationalities i have owned the skill of interacting with them in a professional manner and have a great understanding of what is needed to be successfully part of a well-run yacht.
I take care about all aspects of yacht and having all under control. As person I’m honest and loyal, which is respected by owners. My priority is the yacht to be in excellent condition and the owner/charterer to be always happy and satisfied of my job and also of the team’s job. I consider myself to be very reliable, respectful, treating everybody, including all crew, management, shipyards, agents, all concerned in fare way and with respect. I thoroughly enjoy going to sea, the navigation, logistics plus all the other aspects of the yachting industry.
In my free time, out of the summer season, i like to do sport as CrossFit, read some good books, listen to music, take long walks or running, and enjoy time with my family and friends.
I’m certain that my experience and skills will truly make me a valuable addition to every yacht where i will work on in the future.
